In our Western civilization, it’s common to say things like “we’ll have to do lunch” or “I’ll call you next week” and it’s generally accepted that those things are not actual promises and likely will not happen.
We have also come to understand that promises such as “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” and “no new taxes” aren’t really going to happen either.
So I suppose that’s why when our vicious enemies say things like they will “reach America and behead Barack Obama in the White House,” we have trouble believing it.
The problem is, the ones who do seem to have great follow-through on promises are our enemies. ISIS promised to behead a few folks, and they did. On camera.
They’ve stated their goal of creating an Islamic caliphate, and they now control a swath of land the size of Great Britain.
Now the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reports ISIS has released a new chilling video. MEMRI says , “Part of the video features a group of armed and masked ISIS fighters standing on a Mosul street around a Kurdish soldier who is kneeling on the ground. In front of him are the remains of a missile apparently fired by the Peshmerga.”
“Before beheading the captive, an ISIS fighter delivers “a message to the entire world” in Kurdish (subtitled in Arabic), in which he furiously threatens the U.S. and Obama, France and Belgium, and the Kurds. He says: “This is the fate of anyone who opposes Islam. Know, oh Obama, that we will reach America. Know also that we will cut off your head in the White House and transform America into a Muslim province. And this is my message to France and its sister, Belgium. We advise you that we will come to you with car bombs and explosive charges and we will cut off your heads.”
“At the end of the film the fighter, screaming, beheads the prisoner with a knife, to the cheers of people who have gathered to watch.”
Last week, a Boko Haram chief said in a video that his group’s latest massacre in the Nigerian city of Baga “is just the beginning of the killings. What you’ve just witnessed is a tip of the iceberg. More deaths are coming.”
Considering Boko Haram has massacred as many as 10,000 in the last year, do you think maybe the Nigerians are taking him seriously?
And while we’re on the subject of not-so-idle-threats, it bears repeating that Hamas – you know, that “humanitarian organization” – states in its 1988 original charter preamble:
Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it” (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).
And in Article Two: The Islamic Resistance Movement is one of the wings of Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine. Muslim Brotherhood Movement is a universal organization, which constitutes the largest Islamic movement in modern times.
Oh wait, did they say “Islamic?” How come they can say it and we can’t?
Oh, and speaking of the Muslim Brotherhood (and their welcome by our own State Department), I am compelled to share once again this passage from their “Explanatory Memorandum” which details their plans for our nation.
Understanding the role of the Muslim Brother in North America:
The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miser- able house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no es- cape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.
If you haven’t already, you really ought to download the whole thing and share it with all those “coexist” pals you have.
Why is it so darn hard for our leaders to define the enemy when the enemy so enthusiastically defines itself?
And at what point do we take these Islamists at their word?
